I am intrigued by health ingredients, but sometimes when they get to my cupboards, they never see the fluorescent lights of the kitchen again. Poor things, must be scary in those dark cupboards...
I received a bag of Viva Labs Himalayan Organic Goji Berries & Organic Raw Cacao Nibs for free to taste test and I wanted to find a recipe to use them in. I decided to go with this recipe: "Cacao & Goji Berries Power Cookies" from the My Darling Vegan Blog.
I definitely recommend this recipe. It was easy and the results are healthy, but super tasty! I didn't have almond butter on hand, but I did have cashew butter that I have been wanting to rid from my cupboard, so that was perfecto. It worked great. I also pressed some mini semi sweet ghirardelli chocolate chips onto the top and sprinkled with this finishing sea salt (I'm in love with it) I got in a Try The World box. I love those finishing touches. I used myArtisan Non-Stick Silicone Baking Mats, as always. One of the greatest inventions, in my opinion!
This was a great way to use all of these healthy ingredients. This is a perfect breakfast-on-the-go recipe for me. I'm excited to have a great way to make use of these goji berries and cacao nibs.
How do you like to use these ingredients? Do you have another awesome recipe I should try? Let me know!!!

How awesome is this box?!
It's an Asian-themed snack box containing a mix of 20 snacks from varied Asian countries. Some are sweet, some savory, some crunchy, some chewy.
It was a blast to open this box and see what was inside, it felt like I just kept pulling out more and more things!
A box like this is an awesome alternative to a subscription box because you can order it one time for yourself or as a gift and you won't have to mess around with canceling the subscription, pausing it, or totally forgetting and getting charged again and again.
I never really thought about purchasing something like this off of Amazon, but as it turns out there are many themed care packages available.
One like this Asian snack box is especially cool because in most places you would be hard pressed to find some or all of these snacks. If you like to be adventurous and try some new things, this is a super way to do it and if you love something you can order more of it on Amazon!
At the moment the price is $24/box including shipping if you have Amazon Prime.
Thanks, Asian Snack Box, for letting me try this box at a discount!
