The world of airport lounges is completely new to me. I guess I knew they existed, but I never thought I would utilize them. It seemed like a waste of money and time. When I get to my destination I want to get started exploring! Or when I get to my home airport, I'm tired from traveling and I just want to get home to sleep in my bed again. A huge perk of Chase Sapphire Reserve is a Priority Pass Membership included. This enables you and a guest to enter over 1,000 airport lounges around the world for free! Plaza Premium Lounge at Heathrow Airport was an amazing first lounge to visit!!! Amenities at Plaza Premium Lounge London Heathrow Airport
Refreshments & Alcohol at Plaza Premium LoungeI was so excited when I arrived at this stylish lounge. We pulled up to the countertop after a red eye flight from Newark and were welcomed and offered a menu and a beverage to start. We both opted for espresso drinks. In the mean time we could chose from the following menu: All of the food was actually delicious and seemed to be prepared and served with genuine care. I was fully tickled by this entire scene. I couldn't wait to tell everyone back home. Connected to the wifi I began shooting iMessages: "The lounge is awesome; this is so crazy!!!!!!" Showers at Plaza Premium LoungeWe almost left, but then decided to ask about the resting rooms. We couldn't get into our hotel for a couple of hours anyways, so we thought we'd investigate this napping in a lounge situation. Turns out that benefit it not included in our Priority Pass access. And we weren't going to pay for it! (haha!) So we then inquired about the showers. We were each led to a shower room. This benefit is included. The bathrooms were absolutely beautiful. The finishes made you feel like home (only nicer!) and they had a ton of amenities including toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, etc. I was really impressed by that. Here's a little video tour of the bathrooms: Our Food:Overall I could hardly have been more happy with this lounge. It was incredible!!! I would purposely fly into Heathrow or pick a flight with a long connection here just to spend time at this lounge. ;o) Would you do that? What do you like most about airport lounges? Food? Wifi? Free drinks? Showers? I'd love to know! Coming up:
