Around Bangkok you will see a site like this: These beauties (called Pla Pao) are fish that have been salted and stuffed with fresh herbs. (lemongrass, anyone!?) If you like fish, you must buy one. For about $5 you can get a whole prepared fish and it will be the most delicious, moist, perfectly cooked fish of your life! The seafood sauce that comes with it is also delicious and I believe there were some herbs and glass type noodles that accompanied it as well.

Khanom Buang -ขนมเบื้อง- is another Thai street food/ street snack made with thin pancakes stuffed with almost a merengue and topped with orange colored coconut shreds. They look like tacos, but they are not! They are cheap and a delicious treat you must try! Some are mini and bite sized and some are huge like a normal taco size.
More From Thailand:
Nantsuttei Ramen was a highly reviewed ramen restaurant located in Siam Paragon mall. Now every mall has a food court, but in Bangkok the malls and food courts are labarynths that you may never find your way out of, but you’ll be okay because anything you could ever imagine needing or wanting is in that building. ;)
Anywho, after much meandering we found the Ramen restaurant. Scroll down to see what we noshed on: |
