We've long been fans of electric toothbrushes and both have one byPhilips Sonicare, although I have since put mine in storage to use down thereplacement Oral-B heads I had stockpiled in my couponing days. (Only 2 more left, I think, so I'm excited to get back to my Sonicare Brush ;) )
Any who! The trouble with these brushes is the replacements can be costly. It's a good investment because your teeth are super important and your oral care can affect other parts of your body too!!! And it's cheaper and less traumatic than dental work..... But still.. it can be painful tofork out $10-12 every couple of months for each person in the family to have a new toothbrush head. It's important to replace them, though, because of 1. grossness factor 2. as the bristles get worn down they become less effective. (do you like my prioritizing? lol)
This set from iHealthia comes with 2 brush heads. The cost is less than half of the branded ones from Sonicare. They fit perfectly into the toothbrush base, and also have a vented plastic cover as the branded ones do. This allows airflow to reach the bristles but still protects from germies. The shape is quite similar although seems more defined in these ones from iHealthia.
I would like to see the different colored bands on the neck of the toothbrush as well, so family members can more easily distinguish, but you could always use a sharpie or something to color over it in a darker color for each member, or make a mark on the charging base. That's what we have done in the past and had no trouble.
I received these for free to test and review. I think branded toothbrush heads are going to be the highest quality, but these are a great option to still get improved oral hygiene without breaking the bank!
