What's in the Influenster Flawless Vox Box?
Simple Skincare Cleansing Facial Wipes & Micellar Water Cleanser
I decided to compare how these work side by side. I removed the make up from the left side of my face with the Simple Skincare Cleansing Wipes and I used the Simple Micellar Water on the right side of my face. I had full make up on including eye make up, mascara, the whole deal.
They both removed makeup well. My face appeared clean afterwards and I personally didn't have any reactions to either product. My skin isn't super sensitive that any new thing causes an issue, but at the same time it can be a little temperamental. But in this case, no issues. Score! I did take a corner of my wipe and rubbed it on the side of my face that I used the micellar water on and a faint foundation color showed up on the wipe. So! maybe I needed to be more generous with the micellar water. I used half of the little sample bottle (it's tiny) to cleanse the one half of my face. In recent times I have been removing make up with this reusable make up remover cloth and I love it. I probably will not change this routine because I find it efficient, cost effective, and eco friendly. That being said, I do think the wipes are great for certain instances: too lazy to deal with water, if your water service is temporarily disconnected at the moment you want to remove your make up (lol), and travel or on-the-go situations. I think these are really convenient for travel days! The micellar water, for me personally, I feel like I would use it up so fast that it would be costly. But, I think if I usedmy usual make up remover towel, it would be great to dab some micellar water onto a cotton pad and get any stray remnants off my face that the towel could have missed. In that way, you still benefit from the micellar water, but save some money at the same time.
Dr. Teal's Eucalyptus Epsom Salt Soaking Solution
I wish I had a foot bath. You know, one of those little foot spas that people buy and they stay in a cupboard for 263 days out of the year. That's why i don't have one. I know myself. Although I would like to think that I would use it on the regular, the reality is, like most people, we don't take the time out to relax and treat ourselves like that often enough. Still... it would be nice for the days like yesterday when you do take that time....
So, I had to resort to a large roasting tray. Seriously. I'm sorry. Don't judge me, I cleaned it *really* good afterward and I hardly use it anyway. LOL. I heated some water on the stove top and poured it over the Dr Teal's Eucalyptus Epsom Salt Soaking Solution and put my feet in... OUCH! too hot! I had to wait for it to cool down because I made the water too hot. Oops... could be solved by a temperature regulated foot spa.. just saying.. It was so luxurious to sit and relax. I watched some TV, ate some ramen noodles, and vegged. This is treating myself..?! hahaha. It was great though, really. My next goal is to use the rest to soak in the actual bath, not just a foot bath. That sounds soo relaxing.
Yogi Tea Soothing Rose Hibiscus Skin DeTox & Yogi Honey Lavender Stress Relief
How else can you relax? Why a nice hot cuppa, of course! It's also how you can be flawless since this tea by Yogi is "Soothing Rose Hibiscus Skin DeTox" .
Let's be real... I can't tell you how it did amazing things for my skin because I only had one cup. What I can tell you is that it tasted nice. I usually stick with a more traditional black or green tea, but at times I venture into more unique teas. This tea boasts ingredients in addition to green tea such as:
I still have to try theHoney Lavender Stress Relief Tea, but I can tell you what's steeping the stress out of you:
No mention of caffeine with this one.
Sinful Colors Professional Kylie Trend Matters Pure Satin MattePolish in Miss Klaws
I've been meaning to do my toes for a while. They're so neglected. They've had 0 polish on them for weeks now. I suppose it's good to let them breath and I have been rocking my sanuks so often that no one was even seeing my toes anyways, but still.. it was overdue. So after my soak with Dr. Teal, I went ahead and tested out Miss Klaws, a matte satin color from the Kyle line by Sinful Colors.
I've always been a high shine polish kind of girl, but this polish really intrigued me! It seemed to dry quickly/more evenly/more fully than other Sinful Colors polishes I had tried before. I give it a thumbs up! Great fall shade and great formula! Hello Pure Mint Breathspray
For some reason Influenster did not send me the Hello Breathspray. Maybe they think my breath is already fresh? Thanks guys ;-)
Still, would have loved to try it! I checked out the Hello brand and found this Mojito Breath Spray and Supermint Breath Spray. Both seem like they would be great refreshers. Mmm.. mojitos...
Harvest Snaps Snapea Crisps
If you like crunchy snacks with a hint of salt, you will probably love these Snapea Crisps by Harvest Snaps!! These are baked green pea crisps. They have an addictive crunch to them, they are light and crispy with just enough salt to make your mouth water! This was my first time trying them and i loved them!
Covergirl So Lashy Mascara
Can't find this on Amazon yet, but you can find it on theCover Girl website. It has the craziest looking wand! It was a little intimidating at first, I was afraid I would poke my eye. LOL.
But I actually liked how it turned out. It was my first use and I got some nice length and separation on my lashes. No, they don't look like falsies or anything, but I liked how it turned out. It wasn't clumpy which meant it dried quickly and I was able to curl my lashes again after mascara application and this is what makes a huge difference for me! I'll be continuing to play with this mascara, but so far I'm fascinated by it with a tiny bit of fear of stabbing my eye still lingering. ;-p.
I received all of the items above (except that breathspray) for free to check out in a box from influenster.
Opinions are my own, whether you like them or not! :o) Have you tried any of these things?
If so, I would love to hear your opinion or experience. Everyone's is different!
