On a recent quick stop at the Dollar Tree store I couldn't help but notice the Jelly Belly's in the impulse buy area by the cash register. (such a sucker..) It had been ages since I had Jelly Belly's and for a buck (small bag) I thought "Why not?" When I couldn't decide which variety to try I ended up grabbing all three. ha!

Jelly Belly Kids Mix Flavors
Jelly Belly 49 Assorted Flavors Mix
I really enjoyed both the sour ones and the expanded possibilities of the original mix. The Kids mix was great and the flavors were delicious, but I like the chance of trying some additional flavors that aren't in there.
In general, Jelly Belly is known for having super flavorful and accurate tasting jelly bean flavors. I really enjoyed this unexpected trip down memory lane. I loved the sour ones and it's fun to try and guess the flavors of the other jelly beans. I've heard there's even a "recipe book" for combining different jelly bean flavors to make delicious combos.
There is also the bean boozled variety which I haven't tried. There are basically some normal flavors and some really nasty flavors and they look the same. So you might get delicious coconut or nasty spoiled milk. Dead fish or strawberry banana smoothie. Caramel corn or moldy cheese. You get the idea. It would be amusing to play with friends and a lot of people will share them as practical jokes. Would you try these? Have you tried them?!
See more fun snacks and sweets I'm trying in this Saturday Series.
