That depends. The Gentlemans Box is a subscription box geared to ladies. Just kidding... Obviously it's for the guys. According to their FAQ page...
Each box honors a noteworthy gentleman from the past or present. 4-5 items and the latest GQ are picked to reflect the gentleman of the month, if you will.
You have the option of ordering 1 month at a time, 3 months, or a year. The base cost is $25/month but it gets cheaper if you buy more months at once and if you have a promo code.
The team there seems so cool and fun, check out this lovable YouTube video of their reactions to an order!
I didn't tell the cool guy it was coming, so when it arrived he was super humored. The cool lady said "He really got a kick out of it."
Month One - Jim Beam Theme
First month of the box was May with a Jim beam theme. The box came with a tie, lapel flower, and coordinating socks along with 4 Jim beam coasters, an ice tray for your Jim Beam, a little bottle of AJ Murrays lotion and the little booklet of cool tips and such called "The Gentleman's Post".
Soon as he wore the tie, I got a selfie. Good sign ;)
Month Two - Our Favorite Grand Slam Great Theme
The June box has a $118 value and came with a polka dot tie, striped socks, a pocket square, and a watch!
Month Three - Comical Character Theme
The July box has a $127 value including colorful striped socks, a pocket square, a blue and purple diagonal striped tie, a silver tie bar, and a bottle of "multi wash".
I think The Gentleman's box makes a really great gift idea! I know it's not specifically geared toward the 60+ crowd, but if you have the right person who wears a lot of dress clothes and is a little spunky, it is perfect! It's a great way to add some new pieces to their rotation, some classic and some quirky. And every time the box comes they'll think of you! & if something in the box isn't their taste, make sure to tell the recipient to feel free to pass it along to someone else and not feel the need to hang on to things they don't love!
