Did you know that you could be paying for Amazon Prime monthly OR Annually? As it turns out, you can pay $10.99 per month for the great benefits of Amazon Prime. But you should really just pay for it annually. If you do, you pay $99/year. That’s a savings of $32.88 per year!!!
You can also share your Amazon Prime membership with your family. In this way, each person can log into their own Amazon account and add their own methods of payment rather than having to log into the same account and get each other’s cards confused or one person accidentally use another person’s credit from a return or customer service issue etc.
Prime is also an awesome gift if someone you know shops on Amazon a lot. Even if they already have a membership, if you gift them a membership they can just add that onto the end of their current membership!!
Amazon takes so much of my money, but I get a lot of great deals and the things that aren’t the BEST deal, I still order because the convenience to me is worth it. A lot of items can be returned for free, simply, and I’ve had great experience with Amazon’s customer service in the past. As long as I live where Prime is beneficial, I will be a prime member!
And because that is true, I will definitely keep paying for the membership annually as opposed to monthly.
If you don’t order much from Amazon, but do want to place an order that qualifies for prime shipping, you can always do an Amazon Prime trial and cancel it.
Or if you only buy a lot at certain times (if you live abroad part of the year and only use it when you’re in your ‘home’ country, or special events), you could sign up monthly and cancel it when you’re done purchasing things and benefiting from the free and fast shipping. In this case, it would make more sense to pay monthly.
Just a quick simple tip to save you ~$30/year! :)
