Thip Samai is a famous pad Thai place. They cook an egg so thin that they can wrap your portion of pad Thai up in it like a little present. They also serve fresh orange juice and coconut ice which is refreshing. We sat outside (there is an inside/ac option for a fee) and the food was definitely good, but we felt extremely rushed by the waitstaff. :( It made the experience awkward and less enjoyable.
