Did you know Put-in-Bay has a tour train? The tour train is a great way to see the island and take a rest. The tour guides are knowledgeable and you will learn some interesting history of the area as well as see some views you may not otherwise have seen. I love seeing boats afloat in the water, for example, like in the shot above. Along the way you will pass historic homes and barns that have been around for a lot longer than you, guaranteed. Stop Off Privileges - What are they exactly? The Tour Train has "Stop Off Privileges", but I found that this was not explained further in on their website and you definitely want to be sure you can get back on before you hop off at the first stop. When you get your ticket, you will be given a sticker. (At least this is how it worked they day I rode) You can stop off at Perry's Cave & Family Fun Center, Heinemann Winery & Crystal Cave, or Perry's Victory & International Peace Memorial. When you're done seeing the attraction, hop on the next train driving by. Your sticker will act as your ticket to re-board. Yay! So if you were not able to get a golf cart because they DO sell out and you don't want to bike the island, this is also a great alternative to walking to the attractions! Cost:To purchase just the Tour Train, prices are as follows: Adult $10 Age 6-12 $4 Under 6 Free The other option is to purchase the Fun Pack Which includes ferry service from Jet Express or Miller Boat Line, as well as a visit to Perry's Cave, Mini Golf, Butterfly House, Antique Car Museum, and Heinemann Winery & Crystal Cave Tour. Cost for that ranges depending on which boat line/location you need or if you need one at all: Adults $34-75 6-12 $18-21 Under 6 Free This is a great option if you are planning to do all of these things anyways. It would be a nice savings all together! When you're not relaxing in these chairs, relax on the Train to your next fun activity! ;)Thanks so much to Lake Erie Shores & Islands for providing these Tour Train Tickets!
