I recently treated myself to a Hannah Everly skirt which I ordered from Etsy.
The experience was a great one. Since she handmakes each skirt they are fully customizable (length, style choices, pockets, bow, etc). I reached out to Hannah on instagram to ask some questions about the fabric etc. She was very prompt in responding and very friendly. I even reached out to some other instagrammers who have some of her skirts to get some insight.@Blondlewis owns tons of these and can’t get enough!
I couldn’t decide which one to get and then Hannah did someinsta stories showing a limited quantity of sale skirts and one was a pattern I loved so I ordered it right away! In my case I ordered on the 6th and the skirt was delivered on the 25th, so it took just under 3 weeks to be made and arrive.
Check out how sweet her packaging was!!!!
I can definitely recommend Hannah’s skirts. She’s also making some dresses at the moment. If your budget can’t justify full price ($45-60), definitelyfollow her on instagram to get a heads up when she has a sale and then pounce!!!
Cash Back on Etsy Purchases
I don't care what you say, shopping for guys is challenging. You want to give a gift that is unique, meaningful, and something they will actually like and use. It's no easy feat. Alas! I have an idea for you!!
If you love things handcrafted from wood or are trying to find a gift for someone who does, check out this shop on Etsy: Kajzars Wood Work.
They are located in Slovenia and make some gorgeous wooden cufflinks, earrings, necklaces, pens etc.
The shop owner responds quickly and has good communication, keeping you updated as he custom makes your items and letting you know when they ship out.
I wouldn't call the prices cheap, but considering that they are hand made and shipping is INCLUDED, I think it can be worth it if this is your style. Estimated shipping time is 10-14 business days from Slovenia to most places, so keep that in mind and order well in advance. That being said, my order came a lot faster than that.
A great idea for a groomsman gift would be matching cufflinks to wear on the wedding day and beyond. Or their amazing wooden pens.
I feel so much better when I take off my make up and wash my face properly before bed, but sometimes I am so tired that I am not in the mood to go through the routine. Did you ever notice that by the time you are finished washing your face, brushing your teeth, and tinkling one last time that you are no longer ready for bed?! I hate that!!!
For a long time I had been using these little round make up remover pads I got at the Dollar Tree that you can wash and reuse. They weren't super gentle on my eyes, but one side was softer than the other so I would always use that side. Of course I bought a bunch of them a few years ago so they were starting to look pretty ratty which led to me scouring etsy for replacements/upgrades.
I ended up buying two products from MichelleGoodSoaps. I bought mini make up remover pads which I use the soft side for my eye make up and the terry toweling for my face make up. Then when I go to wash my face I put my face wash on the linen side of the linen cleansing pads for a little bit of scrub.
These items are organic cotton. The seller included a sweet little note and I loved the simple packaging, it was just perfect. I love my purchase! It is an investment in beautiful skin ;) And it literally makes me more happy to go through my pre-bed routine and actually enjoy it!
How do you make your skincare routine more enjoyable?! Let us know!
