Aldi has been carrying an apple variety lately called Autumn Glory. Autumn Glory apples are described by Superfresh Growers as “very sweet and crisp with hints of cinnamon and subtle notes of caramel. Some describe it as tasting like apple sauce while others say it reminds them of cider; regardless of how you describe it, Autumn Glory apple has a flavor that will leave you reminiscing for fall.”
Do Autumn Glory Apples really taste like caramel and cinnamon? My palate is apparently not refined enough to capture those essences, however this is a sweet and deliciously crisp apple. The description had me actually hesitating to buy these for some reason, but now I will keep my eye out for them they are so good. Look out Honeycrisps!
