1. It’s Off Season. Here’s What That Means For You...
NO CROWDS! Nothing is more frustrating than visiting an incredible destination, only to find it completely packed with thousands of other people. Sometimes it can add to the vibe, but other times it totally takes away from the experience. It’s wonderful to stroll around Niagara Falls without swarms of people.
In addition to less fellow travelers, off season means better prices. Accommodations are generally going to offer some better prices and even attractions may run promotions to try to drive business during the slow time. Score. ? Compare Toronto & Niagara Falls Hotels Prices Below
2. Winter Is Beautiful. Duh!
Winter is actually beautiful people. Yes, it can be inconvenient at times. Yes, it can be cold. But visiting the Falls in the winter, during a light snow fall, and watching the light show is just ..... bonito! Seeing the CN Tower stand tall behind Trinity Bellwoods Park covered in snow.... Moía!? Sipping a warm beverage in a cozy cafe and watching the snow fall.... Dreamy. ☕
Cons of Visiting Niagara Falls + Toronto Canada In Winter
Yes, of course there are some cons..
1. Let’s address the elephant in the room. It’s cold. ❄️ Most people don’t love going out of town in the cold. If anything, they try to escape the cold by going to a warm destination, right? Yeah, me too. Unless you like winter sports⛷️, you may not always consider going to a cold destination in winter and the cold temps may be a negative for you. 2. If the weather is bad and you’re not used to driving in snowy, inclement weather then you may find the scenario problematic. ?
