Few things are more satisfying after a road trip driving day and a chilly visit to Niagara Falls than hitting up an Irish Pub. Just a mile and a half from Niagara Falls lies a gem of a place - Doc Magilligan’s Restaurant and Irish Pub, said to be one of the 10 Irish pubs in North America (not sure by who, but that’s what their website says).

The menu is swarming with delights, but if you want to get a nice variety, I recommend the Taste of Ireland [includes Shepherd’s Pie, Madras Chicken Curry, Steak & Mushroom Pie, and grilled Irish soda bread - $18] along with Magilligan’s Fish & Chips [ comes with hand cut fries. 1 piece $15, 2 pieces $18 - just get two pieces. Duh.]
