What to Do in St. Kitts on a Cruise

So your ship is in port at Basseterre, St. Kitts and you want to figure out how to spend the day. Here's how I spent my day on St. Kitts.

One Day on St. Kitts:

Sunny Blue Scooter Rental

We started the day off getting a scooter we had reserved in advance. We were to meet the staff at the port and they would shuttle us to their location to pick up the scooter. It took us more than a few minutes to find the staff. Look for the polos with the Sunny Blue logo, also they may be holding signs.

Lesson Learned: Ask in advance for clear instructions on the meet up!

It was a quick ride over to their location and these people were SO nice. I cannot recommend them enough if you want to rent a scooter on one of these islands. They also have 4 wheelers. You do need to have experience though.

This day overall?

Was awesome! An absolute favorite day from the trip. The island is lush and beautiful. It was really fun to ride around on the scooter and there was so much to take in from beaches, cliffs, black lava rocks, mountains and Mt. Liamuiga... I would love to visit this island again!
