It's about time for another post here, don't you think?
So you have tech lying around that you have already replaced or you want to replace and you want to get some cash for it. I don't blame you! You can sell it to someone you know who is in the market, or maybe you list it on ebay. Then you have to deal with packaging and shipping. Not a huge issue for an iPad, but safety shipping a 27" Mac is another story. Have you heard of Apple's Trade Up program? My experience with Apple's Trade Up Program

My Mac was giving me trouble after close to 8 years of constant use. It was restored to factory settings multiple times until finally it was decided that it was time to replace it. It was practically unfunctioning at this time. That's when I caught wind of this program. As long as your computer can display certain screens, then it qualifies! A computer that was rendered completely useless to me ended up netting me almost $600 into my bank account! The company mailed me special packaging to carefully pack up the computer. In Summary
Checking your house for tech can be a great way to make some cash for something you possibly aren't using any more. You may be able to get more money for some items by selling them on your own through Ebay or some other outlet. But in a case like this, I was completely elated to get what I got for this computer! I had a great experience and definitely recommend this if it suits your needs.
