We were invited to take a seat and enjoy welcome drinks while we checked in. A sweet, young muslim girl walked us through a folder of information. You know, the usual, resort map, restaurant information, pool hours, shuttle hours, and so on. She explained that with our deal voucher we would receive unlimited use of the water taxi shuttle to the mainland (yay!), a glass of sparkling wine in our jacuzzi room, a pizza/pasta meal, day trip for 2 to Koh Rang Yai, 30% off spa services ad 20% off food and drinks at the hotel. Tropical Jacuzzi SuiteSum-upI thought the room was very nice. When you walk in, to the right along the bathroom wall was a countertop with sink, and some drawers, coffee/tea station. The huge open style bathroom was behind that wall. Toilet, tub, shower, double sinks, it was really nice. The wall behind the bed houses the 2 large closets with hanging room and shelves, safe, and a little vanity mirror and table top with drawers where the extra bathroom supplies were placed. The room had a couch with coffee table across from the TV and stand which housed the mini fridge. The AC worked very well. The room was more impressive than the outside at first glance. It was very stylish and felt luxurious (even with the slight leak on the one sink) The outside jacuzzi area definitely looked worn and a victim of the sometimes intense Thai weather. Still, I made some vibrant new friends out back. Come meet them on Wednesday! You Might Also Like...
