If Shoes, No Service

Here in the US, at times you see a sign that says "No Shirt, No Shoes, No Service" meaning that you need to be fully dressed to enter the establishment. 

But here in Thailand, that's not always the case. ;) 

At this restaurant located in the Old City, Cooking Love, shoes are not permitted. So leave them at the door and come on in for a meal! 

We started off with a Thai Tea and a Mango Smoothie

Added a water and continued on with a stir fry dish and a northern specialty: Khao Soi, a unique and delicious curry dish for which Chiang Mai is well known. I later ended up giving my leftovers to a homeless man on the street who we chatted with for a few minutes. I probably wasn't going to eat it in the hotel room anyway, and if he was really homeless I imagine he appreciated it. It was tasty!! :o)

We only ate in 2 restaurants while in Chiang Mai, because the rest of the time we just ate street food. <3
