I received an email that my bag had shipped on August 10th.  I received my bag on August 14th, right on time. 

I have been using the It Cosmetics powder to set my underage concealer and then to set my entire face. I feel like it adds a slight white cast, but otherwise works well. The trial size works fine with my brushes and can be put into a travel palette if you have one. The blaq mask will definitely go traveling with me instead of scooping out my current mud mask into another container. You need to put this mask on pretty thick because you are supposed to peel it off and if you put it on too thin you can't really peal it off. Avoid areas with a lot of face peach fuzz because it kind of hurts to peel off. It's like a mini face wax. But great for nose and other areas with blackheads. I'm not a huge fan of hand cream in general, butthis TonyMoly one does smell deliciously like peaches and absorbs in quickly. The Tarte lifted sweatproof mascara is going to be great to take for beach days when I use atinted SPF and just want a little accentuation of my lashes for the day without worrying when I go swimming.  I was surprised that I actually liked the gray nail polish color on.

I've been curious to try ipsy for a long time, but never went for it. I've gotten rid of quite a bit of old makeup and thought it would be a good time to try it. Anything I dont like will be removed immediately!!! Something about a little package of goodies coming each month is so exciting, a little present. But I don't want it to ruin my budget or take over all of the space I have created by decuttering recently. So begins my quest to have fun with ipsy and be balanced!

There's actually nothing in this bag that I am disappointed about! (and I am surprised at that!)

• The nail polish looks really nice. I opened it up and watched the polish drip off the brush -- not too runny, not to thick. Great sign!
• The liner I got is a gold color. I own a gold colourpop liner right now and have owned an urban decay gold liner in the past. So this is something up my alley. (Actually, I just got a nyx liquid gold liner too!)
• The lip gloss is a my lips but better shade and it is super moisturizing. The color goes on opaquely and has a nice finish. I like the way it feels on my lips and I don't think it is overly sticky. I'm very excited about this gloss!
• I've always wanted to try theBalm makeup, so let's see what I can do with that tiny blush ;) Adorable packaging complete with magnetic closure though!
• And finally, I'm really into skincare and I have heard great things about skin ICELAND brand, so this is a great opportunity to try their face wash!

Also, I think the bag itself is very cute! I am soooo pleased with this ipsy bag. It cost $10, and the value in it was fabulous in my opinion. These are all items I will be using! Well done, ipsy! ;)

I have several Julep nail colors that I have not tried yet. They are nicely lined up in one of my drawers, but I have been on such a gel manicure at home kick that I haven't wanted to mess with "regular" polish besides trying the polish in my Influenster Goddess Vox Box.

Finally, though, I decided it was high time. I picked out my clothes for the week (yes, I do that every once in a while when I'm really on the ball) and I decided this shade, Jenna, was a nice compliment to everything.
