It can be tempting to stock up on cheap sunglasses. Maybe you lose you sunglasses all the time, you drop them, sit on them, your dog ate them... who knows? Sometimes, though, when you spend a little more for a quality product, you are likely to be much more aware and careful with it than something that feels disposable. Also, those cheap sunglasses tend to break easily anyways. And there goes some more plastic waste. We’ve all done that! But I wondered if you have even considered bamboo sunglasses? For some time I have been proud to be an ambassador for Swell Vision, a fantastic bunch of people out of Pawley’s Island South Carolina USA who make awesome sustainably sourced bamboo sunglasses. A lot of organizations launched a campaign intending to lessen the waste people produce. This could mean replacing the existing stuff that we have by a more environment-friendly stuff. I think this is a better idea. Bamboo and metallic straws were both launched for public and they went crazy over it. Though I didn't imagine it at first, I realized that having a bamboo shades is quite ideal too! It's about time for us to support materials that are environment friendly because this serves as our way to lessen the waste we produce. It might be a small thing for some, but it could mean a lot!
