It’s no secret that I love sanuk shoes. I wear them all the time. I wear them with casual clothes, I wear them with skirts and dresses. Sanuk shoes saved me in Thailand and I wore them till they weredestroyed in Sri Lanka. For me, sanuk shoes are comfy from the moment I get them. And they only get comfier. No break in time (for me. YMMV), no weird blisters. None of that. You can even toss them in the washer! There are only 2 downsides to most varieties:
The Sanuk Chiba Quest Review
The Chiba Quest is a more substantial shoe, I mean “sidewalk surfer” that has full-length rubber outsoles for all your adventure with comfy foot beds including a bit of arch support!!
I reached out and Sanuk graciously sent me a pair to review (thanks!!). At the time they only had black and I think gray and they are unisex. Now they have more fun patterns.
I am grateful to Sanuk for sending me these nice shoes. I do still wear them, but I have to wear socks, and taller ones at that, because of how it rubs in the back. [maybe I should try mole skin?]
These shoes run for $85. Ultimately, if I was spending my cash I would rather buy 2 other pairs of sanuks for a tad more than splurging on the Chiba Quests. I just can't justify the $85 when the fit isn't great for me foot. UPDATE: I added my custom WIIVV insoles to the Chiba Quests and found that they definitely rubbed less and were even more comfortable because the fit improved. What do you think? Have you tried these and loved them? I know some people really do! Thanks again to Sanuk for sending me these shoes so I could spent a lot of time testing them in day-to-day and travel to give an honest review! I wonder how the Pair O Dice shoes are? I still haven't tried those yet! Pin Me!
