Where I Stayed in Brooklyn, NY : A Tree Grows In Brooklyn

A Tree Grows In Brooklyn is a phenomenal airbnb rental in the suburban neighborhood of Canarsie. You are renting a 3 bedroom apartment with TV, AC/Heat,  and Wireless Internet. The hosts are super friendly and were perfectly balanced in introducing themselves and being available if assistance was needed and giving our group privacy.

The Best Part?

The best part for me was how well stocked this rental was. Seriously, anything and everything you could possibly need was here. A closet full of a wide array of bathroom products, not $1 store items, but good name brand items. Not just bar soap, but body washes, face scrubs, hair styling products and so on. The kitchen was amazing and insanely well stocked. Not only were the basics of salt, pepper, oil there,  but fresh fruit, lunch meat, bread, yogurt, beer, waters, cans of soup, jars of spaghetti sauce, pasta, cereal, hot chocolate mix, the list could go on and on and on and on. It was incredible! It's always a hassle to go to the grocery store when you will only be in town for a couple of days. Trying to guess how much of everything to buy and taking the time is a nuisance. At A Tree Grows In Brooklyn, we didn't have to mess around with any of that junk. HOORAY! 

The Neighborhood

I loved the neighborhood. It had a Jamaican-vibe and I love being in a "real" neighborhood. Riding the bus into the city with the locals, walking to the metro station, all that jazz is good stuff in my book. However, I understand not everyone is into that. 

I would highly recommend this airbnb rental to anyone looking for somewhere to stay near NYC.
