To date, the Lily Silk SOS Shirt is my third silk shirt. This Charmeuse Silk button up blouse is truly a beautiful piece. If you love a silk top with a luxurious sheen, this will be up your alley. I can't really put into words how truly special and super ... silky? (lol) this women's silk blouse feels to the touch and when wearing it! Let's get to the try on!

After a very quick steam with my travel fabric steamer, I put the lilysilk sos shirt on for the first time.

I am a petite pear and it's important to note that this is an oversized style. As you can see.. it is definitely oversized!

Lots of room in the arms and at the sides and if you have long arms, don't worry about short sleeves here!

Love the look of the lilysilk blouse tucked in to this classic skirt and finished with a skinny black leather belt.

For an effortless look, consider wearing the lily silk blouse untucked over leggings.

The length is generous so your backside will be covered!

Also try tossing a sweater like this red cashmere sweater over top of the lilysilk sos shirt.

It's a great layering piece!

I really love the look of the lily silk button up with the pencil skirt and the cashmere crew sweater all put together.

I think the sleeves peek out just the right amount and these Nisolo boots are a perfect finishing accessory.

Finally, if you would like a more pronounced and structured finish to the collar, go ahead and button the top button.

Final Thoughts Lily Silk SOS Blouse Review

I typically prefer a slim fit when it comes to blouses because of being so petite. For that reason, the Lily Silk Basic shirt is probably a better option for me overall (and they have lots of gorgeous colors!) Howeverrrrr I have to admit that I loved the oversized silk blouse layered under a sweater. It felt so luxurious and silk has great thermoregulatory properties making it a double win! A lot of base layers are made up of synthetics that make you itch or get overly warm, but that won't be a problem here! To help extend the life of your silk blouses, I recommend a sweat proof undershirt like these.

This is my first Lilysilk piece and it truly is beautiful. The whole experience, including the packaging felt luxurious and like a special gift coming wrapped nicely in its own special box.
