Today encircled is launching a new and v cute jumpsuit that is comfy, convertible, and all the things you'll love. Straps can be tied 5+ ways (my head is always imagining the additional possibilities), comfy sustainable fabric, cropped length to keep you cool, and, of course... pockets!!
The design is called The Comfy Convertible Jumpsuit #comfyconvertiblejumpsuit - if you order one share your styling with this hashtag, I really would love to see! Looks like it is coming in black and a lovely olive green! *squeal* Consider layering a tee underneath this jumpsuit or adding a cardigan or blazer on top to mix it up. Adding a belt and pumps or a cap and sneakers will make it dressy or casual. Lots of options!

A button up top has been on my “in search of” list as I curate my personal style so when encircled was designing their version of a classic button up, only comfy, I had to give it a try!
Material - The Comfy Button Up
The Comfy Button Up is made with Lenzing Modal. This is a plant based fabric made from the pulp of beech trees. It’s soft and drapey, but more structured than other Modal pieces from encircled, which is a good fit for this style of top.
Does it wrinkle? It can! The first time I wore it out of the shipping package and smashed in my small closet space it was a bit wrinkly. I took a fabric steamer to it and here are the before and after pics. The first picture to the last picture where both sides have been lightly steamed are only 3 minutes apart. Literally. And after years of not wanting to iron things, I have to admit I kind of like the process of taking those few minutes to do something so simple as steaming a garment that I care about and want to keep in good condition for years to come. Fit - The Comfy Button Up
The Comfy Button Up is designed to be fitted across the shoulders and have a loose, drapey fit over the body and through the sleeves.
I always get XS in encircled tops as I find the sizing generous. I have a petite upper frame and I really don’t like to feel like I’m swimming in fabric, so I generally prefer a fit and flare type of style. First impressions on theComfy Button Up fit - good fit overall, but could be a little more fitted for my preference. Also, I may have short arms, but I feel the sleeves are a bit long and I want to appreciate the sleeve details more! With encircled pieces I find the more I wear them the more I love them so I look for that to be the case with this top as well. Learning to style different silhouettes is fun and can be really rewarding as you try new things! Styling - The Comfy Button Up
Here are some outfits featuringthe Comfy Button Up.
Final Thoughts
This is a beautiful piece, thoughtfully made, that I will wear and love for years to come, I am sure of it. It’s available in a nice variety of neutrals and colors for the first run so you can find something you will love! I’m still on the hunt for a true, classic button up though. Most likely white or slightly off white. If you have a good rec for a petite, let me know! I just really want the look of that classic collar. I love the look of layering it for different outfits, which just can't be achieved with this piece.

After being hunkered down for over a year, many of us are itching to travel and circumstances are changing daily all over the world to the point where more people are feeling comfortable getting back out on the road and in the air. Appropriately, Vetta Capsule's latest Capsule collection release is called "The Wander Capsule" with the tag line "All you need for your next adventure." Let's check it out..
The Linen Wrap Midi Skirt
The Wander Capsule includes The Linen Wrap Midi Skirt - 100 % linen that is versatile for travel. Dress it up for dinners out or use it as a cute swimsuit cover! You can do a one shoulder or strapless dress or attach it to Linen Two Piece Apron Jumpsuit top to make a dress.
Thoughts: I love this piece. The silhouette as a skirt is flattering and I love the look of it combined with the apron jumpsuit top to make a dress. I appreciate the flexibility of it being a wrap skirt not only to be able to translate into many styles for varying activities, but also to accommodate figure fluctuations! Whether you tend to lose a few or gain a few when you travel, you'll be good to go with this linen wrap skirt! Insider tip: use code wandercapsule to purchase all five items in The Wander Capsule at a discount! The Linen Belted Blazer
The Linen Belted Blazer is a 100% washed linen blazer with drop sleeves and detachable circle belt. An ideal piece to carry with you during breezy seaside strolls or popping into air conditioned ice cream parlors.
The Linen Short
For the first time on my adult life I am interested in wearing shorts and these linen shorts just look so classy. A nice high waisted fit, great pockets, and 100% washed linen. You can also button the shorts to the apron jumpsuit top t make a romper. How cute is that!?
The Linen Collared Shirt
The linen collared shirt is Vetta's first collard shirt (congrats!) My favorite looks are definitely the collared shirt tucked into the wrap skirt and the knotted look is always a go-to for me when it comes to button ups!
The Linen Two Piece Apron Jumpsuit
Finally, I am super intrigued by the linen two piece apron jumpsuit! The bottoms have a lovely silhouette and the top is fascinating. An apron style top that can be tied in the front, back, or criss crossed as seen below. You can even button the apron top into the shorts from this collection as well to make a romper! So cute!! Or wear the top with the wrap skirt as seen at the top of this post for another classy look.
My only concern with ordering this two piece jumpsuit is my top and bottom sizes are always different but I only see one size option on their site. Not sure if you reach out to Vetta if they can mix and match the sizes or if you are stuck with an identical set? Vetta Wanderer Capsule Outfit Combinations
You can make at least 30 combinations with any of Vetta’s Capsule Collections. These pics give some great summer linen outfit inspiration. Mix and match colors in the collection or stick with one. Personally, I’m all about that stone color in this collection!
Vetta capsule has at least 8 additional capsules, so if this collection isn’t your vibe, check out their other sustainable capsule wardrobe collections! More Vetta Capsule:More Style:
Coming in at $65, The Flip Flop is Rothy’s lowest priced piece of footwear. $65 for flip flops is definitely not a low price for many, though. Thanks to your support using my $20 off friend link, I was able to order a pair of Rothy’s Flip Flops to check out and let you know my thoughts on and hopefully it will help you make an educated purchase decision!
Ordering & Shipping - Rothy’s Flip Flop Review
I placed my order on 3/2/21 and it was ready to ship on 3/4/21. I received my order on 3/8/21.
I always appreciate the Rothy’s packaging - the shoes ship in their shoebox, no unnecessary extras there. And I believe the packaging is all recyclable materials. Sizing - Rothy’s Flip Flop Review
Rothy’s flip flops only come in whole sizes. They recommend sizing down if you wear a half size, so I sized down to an 8.
First Impressions - Rothy’s Flip Flop Review
My first impressions are simple. These appear to be a well made pair of flip flops. But they are just that... flip flops. They aren’t especially comfortable or supportive in any way. In fact, I was surprised to find that the straps seem a bit snug on my foot, which is slender. The sole material, which is made from an algae based foam, is firm, not squishy, and I am eager to note how the light color (Coconut) wears over time. One detail that I think makes Rothy’s Flip Flops superior and will contribute to their longevity is the rubber? sole. This will not only provide some grip/slip resistance but also extend the life of the shoe. Cheap flip flops always get worn down quick, but to be honest I haven’t bought those in 10+ years so maybe they do have a rubber sole, I’m not sure.
How Rothy’s Flip Flops Compare To My Other Flip Flops
My current flip flop-ish sandal collections include a very worn pair of Clarks, an even more worn pair of Sanuk Yoga Slings, A pair of custom orthotic flip flops from Wiivv Now FitMyFoot and that’s it.
I love my Sanuk Yoga Slings. I think they are cute and I love the squishy sole. If you don't have specific support needs, these will likely work for you. I did find the fabric was a bit thick between the toes on my right foot, but overall I would rebuy them. The main con was when the sandal got wet I found my foot slipped around quite a bit at times.
The Clarks' strap rubbed the top of my right foot until I had worn them in so much that they started to look scubby. Overall, I think they are a great sandal with some support and I think my strap issue was a fluke.
Finally my FitMyFoot (formerlyWiivv), These are custom made to my foot, but if I’m honest I hate wearing them to the beach especially because sand gets into this gap on the side, and I can never seem to get it all out. They also can leave little rubber marks on your flooring, depending on what type of floor you have and how you walk? It totally gives me elementary school gym vibes. :)
So where do Rothy’s flip flops fall? In terms of comfort and support, probably at the bottom of this list. However, for ease of use and packability, much higher. These will be my go to pair for the beach and pool, should I have the opportunity to enjoy those things anytime soon. I’m glad to have just a classic pair of flip flops back in my shoe collection and to have a pair made of recycled materials is even better. Over time and use I hope to update this Rothy’s Flip Flop Review to include how I feel after more use than walking around my home.
In the mean time, if you’d like to try Rothy’s Flip Flops or get $20 off any other Rothy’s purchase here is my friend link and I thank you so much for using it! I’ve also reviewed Rothy’s The Point in Marigold and I’m interested in trying the Lace Up as I literally do not have a pair of tennis shoes, if you can believe that! |
