I'm a chronic breakfast skipper.
It's not that I don't want to eat breakfast. Sometimes I'm not hungry when I first wake up and sometimes I get in the flow on a project and know if I stop to make food I'll have a hard time getting started again. Often times it's noon before I grab my first bite for the day.
I decided to pick up the Whole & Simple Turkey Sausage & Spinach Omelet Breakfast Bites from Aldi in my last Instacart Order to see if they would be a good option for those times when you are hungry, but don't want to interrupt your flow.

I don't typically purchase items like this, but in 2020 my main entertainment is trying new things from Aldi. Soo.. here we are. One downside of shopping via Instacart is you are limited on how many details you can easily see about any given item. In fact, you can usually just see one front image of the item and the item name. Ingredient lists are not readily available. So I hope this can be helpful!
Aldi Review: Whole & Simple Turkey Sausage & Spinach Omelet Breakfast Bites Review
The Whole & Simple Turkey Sausage & Spinach Omelet Breakfast Bites are quite tasty. I thought the flavor was good and I enjoyed this easy breakfast to give me a protein boost on a day when I otherwise would have skipped breakfast all together. Some are saying this is Aldi's answer as a copy cat to Starbuck's Sous Vide Egg Bites at a fraction of the price. I haven't tried Starbuck's number, but either way I would say skip the buy and DIY this one people. I paid $5.49 for 4 servings of these bites. While they were tasty, I couldn't help but think of countless times I made something similar in a big batch and froze the leftovers for easy breakfasts or snacks. The benefit of this purchase is I am now inspired to recreate these for a fraction of the price!

DIY Egg Breakfast Bites UnRecipe
1. Fry up someButcherbox Breakfast Sausage
2. Finely chop some veggies of your choice onion, garlic, peppers, spinach and sauté them with salt and pepper
3. Whisk some eggs with a splash of milk
4. Spoon sausage and veggies in silicone baking cups. Sprinkle cheese of your choice.
5. Pour whisked eggs and milk to almost fill the cups. Add more cheese on top if you want.
6. Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes or until temp is 165
No measurements, that's how I cook. You can shake these up by adding different dried spices, different veggies and cheeses. Let them cool and pop in the freezer on a plate. Then stick them in a freezer bag (love stashers) and you can take them out individually as needed!
