I love things that are miniature. They're just so cute! I think mini desserts are one of the greatest things ever because sometimes you want a sweet treat, but you don't need to eat an entire cake. Okay, maybe you want to, but none of us need to. haha! So this way you can satisfy your sweet tooth without gaining a permanent roll somewhere on your body. :p

Easy Lemon Mousse Recipe

Something about mousse seems so perfect for summer time. Especially lemon mousse. It adds that bright summery flavor into a light yet potentially rich dessert. To add some berried atop a perfect lemon mousse not only adds vibrant color and texture but a great complimentary flavor profile. YUM!

So the lemon mousse recipe is great. You only need 5-6 ingredients (heavy whipping cream, sugar, lemon juice/zest, cream cheese, vanilla, and berries if you so choose) It holds up great, you can easily make it in advance. But a great recipe alone isn't enough. Presentation, people. Presentation! Now, I'm no professional. And a true professional would probably be ashamed at my presentation, to be honest. *But* in the land of average people that I live in and since I am one of said average people, this is is a pretty decent job. ;-) Room for improvement? Always. Will it make people smile as is? Absolutely! And that's always the aim! <3

So I found the most adorable mini dessert cups on Amazon. They are acrylic, square shaped 2oz cups. Perfect size!! The square shape makes them seem extra fancy! Even better, they come with miniature spoons. YES, YOU HEARD RIGHT (read right): MINIATURE SPOONS!!! *dies* I love it soooo much!

These little cups are so versatile, very sturdy, and very stylish. Placing a spoon in each one is great and makes serving a non-event. Perfect for catering, weddings, parties, look.. even a dinner party at your house this is perfect!

Since they are see-through, you can have a lot of fun with them depending how much time you have. If you make layered desserts they will look *so* special in these. Ahh.. I have so many ideas. And I'm sure I will be back to share some more of them ;-)
